Executive Undersheriff Theodore Freeman
Ted is the executive undersheriff with the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office, Freehold, New Jersey. Ted serves as acting sheriff in the absence of the sheriff, coordinates Sheriff Youth Week, Citizen Police Academy and Law Enforcement Mini Academy and oversees the Monmouth County Correctional Institution. Ted also serves as the agency's disciplinary hearing officer as well as instructs the six-day Methods of Instruction Course.
Ted has a B.A. degree in Education and an A.M.A. Certificate in Management from Monmouth University; a B.A. degree in Social Sciences from Thomas Edison University; and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, 176th Session. He is a NJ Police Training Commission certified police instructor since 1974, certified trainer of instructors since 1986, and a nationally certified WMD instructor.
Ted is a life member of the National Sheriffs' Association and has served four sheriffs: William M. Lanzaro (1985-1995), Joseph W. Oxley (2002-2007), Kim Guadagno (2008-2009) and Shaun Golden (2010-present).
Warden Victor Iannello
Warden Victor Iannello is responsible for the day-to-day operation of MCCI, a 1,328 bed, direct supervision facility. He leads a staff of 270 Sworn Correctional Police Personnel and 31 Civilian Personnel.
Warden Iannello attended Rutgers, The State University of NJ, and Kean University. He is a graduate of the Monmouth County Police Academy's 15th Basic Course for Corrections and is a Certified Public Manager (CPM). He began his correctional career in 2000 ascending from Officer to Warden in 2021.
