- All visits must be pre-approved.
- All visitors must produce valid photo identification.
- Maximum of two adult visitors per visit.
- All visitors must arrive on time — late arrivals denied.
- No walk-up visitation — all visits pre-scheduled by the inmate.
- Once scheduled, visits cannot be changed to another time slot that day.
🚫 NOT allowed: cell phones, cigarettes, lighters, matches, food, drinks, bags, weapons.
👔 Dress Code for Inmate Visitors
All visitors must follow the Dress Code below. Those not abiding by the dress code will be denied entry.
- No overcoats, topcoats, jackets, heavy gauge or full length jackets permitted. Lockers available to store belongings.
- Culottes, skirts, shorts or similar items must be at least to the fingertips or mid-thigh length.
- Slacks, slack suits, dresses and suits are allowed.
- No headgear or hats unless religious in nature and approved for visits.
- Visitors with religious headwear may be permitted provided they submit to a pat frisk or metal detector search.
- No see-through blouses, transparent or fishnet clothing. No tube tops, tank tops, halter tops, low-cut shirts, or shirts exposing shoulders, midriff, torso or back.
- Bike pants, leotards, or tights with no skirt, pants or shirt over them will not be permitted.
- Blazers, button-up sweaters and suit jackets are the only permissible outerwear.
- Headwear, wigs, ornaments or large hairstyles must submit to a search by pat frisk, metal detector, and/or electronic system.
- No slit skirts/dresses, wrap-around skirts/dresses, or skirts/dresses that button or zipper the entire length.
- No military style clothing worn by persons not in active or reserve military status.
- No clothing closely resembling that issued to inmates, Custody Staff or Law Enforcement.
- No thong sandals, flip flops, or beach footwear.
- No clothing depicting messages which could impact safety, security, or orderly operation of the facility.
- Any bra containing underwire will not be permitted.
- Any clothing of a sexually suggestive nature will not be permitted.

Prevention & Treatment Services at MCCI
Substance Abuse Services at MCCI is committed to providing clinically effectual prevention and treatment services to inmates impacted by substance abuse and dependence. All eligible inmates are provided with appropriate services by qualified and state certified/licensed staff.
Interactive educational classes are held for both male and female inmate populations. Weekly group counseling provides additional opportunities to address addictions and criminal behaviors. Individual counseling is also available.
Certificates of participation are awarded at commencement ceremonies held throughout the year. Daily Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and monthly AA/NA speaker jams are provided.
Post-Release Support
Substance Abuse Services assists in post-release in-patient treatment placement and helps inmates connect with local recovery resources. Recovery Jubilees are offered to share information on alternative methods of recovery.
💪 RECOVERY from substance abuse/dependency and criminal lifestyles is the ultimate goal — and recovery and its maintenance are achievable.
