Veteran Service Council

The Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office has established a Coalition of County resources for Veterans Services and Programs that are available.  The Veteran Service Council Consists of key leaders of the military community representing over 40,000 Veterans in Monmouth County. The Monmouth County Sheriff’s Veteran Service Council is charged to advise on policies affecting Veterans Programs within the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office and to share programs to enhance the Veterans who reside in the County.

 

Mission:

The mission of the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office Veterans Program is to empower Veterans to find purpose and serve again through community impact. The Veterans Program strives to:

  • Ensure that veterans are respected for their service to our Country
  • Recognize and be acknowledge by the residents of Monmouth County for the sacrifices made by them and their families on behalf of this great nation
  • Be a conduit and communications channel for sharing Veteran Programs and Initiatives
  • Provide resources and services to offer the Veteran Community
